PHS City Harvest Growers' Resource Center

Welcome to the PHS City Harvest Growers' Resource Center. The purpose of these tools is to help City Harvest participants be successful Philadelphia fruit and vegetable producers. Our participants are growing food for food cupboards, soup kitchens and their neighborhoods in a City with over 400,000 people who are food insecure, including many small children and families.

The Land Bulletin Board is a space for private land owners to post land they are willing to make available to urban food producers. The resource center is set up to provide producers with information about business and tax planning, regulations for city production and sales, educational resources for organic urban producers and upcoming workshop opportunities.

Special thanks to SARE, the Sustainable Agriculture Research and Extension Service for their generous grant in making this site a reality.
